Cost: $135.00 plus Range Fee – Basic Level
Overview: Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely.
Details: This course is up to 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn the rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students successfully shooting their qualification targerts will receive a course completion certificate.
Students must be US Citizens and all courses are not available to any individual who has been convicted of a crime of violence, or who is prohibited by federal, state, or local law from possessing firearms.
If you are pregnant or nursing, we require a written doctor’s authorization that will allow you to handle firearms and ammunition.
